Zoho has been designed with sales teams in mind and scores a 4.3/5 for team infrastructure.  Zoho has the highest score for its features in our research with a 4.4/5. One of the main features it offers is the Blueprint, which allows you to custom build your own sales process. This Blueprint turns best practices into daily actions for your sales team, and means that all your sales agents follow the process just as you’ve designed it. When a deal is on the verge of being closed, the Blueprint ensures certain conditions are met, such as applying the maximum discount. You can also set actions, such as sending follow up emails, for each stage in the sales process and Blueprint will automatically carry them out. 

This platform also allows you to generate leads through social media by automatically converting activity into actionable leads. 

You have access to tons of Zoho apps that make it a comprehensive platform. These include social media management, live chat, invoicing solutions, a website builder and much more. But it’s worth being aware that there’s a fairly moderate learning curve, and the platform can sometimes be buggy especially for new products.

2. Freshsales CRM

Freshsales scores a 4.4/5 overall, providing tons of advanced sales tools, although the more complex features can take longer to implement. Scoring a 3.5/5 for team infrastructure the system is suited to a full sales team, so if you have a small business with just one or two people on sales, many of the features won’t be relevant. Freshsales is super customizable – almost every aspect of the interface can be edited, meaning the system can be molded to suit virtually any industry or business. 

You can choose from hundreds of different currencies and over 10 languages, and you can also use AI-powered chatbots to provide your customers with 24/7 support. Customizable webforms mean that you can easily capture relevant customer data, staying on top of opportunities. Third-party app integrations are also available, but they’re limited compared to what’s offered by competitors. 

Workflow automation means you can set up tasks to be completed using custom rules. For example, you can have leads automatically assigned based on any number of factors, such as expertise or region. Sales sequences can trigger admin tasks to be completed, like sending out welcome emails. This only needs to be set up once and will then run by itself.

HubSpot scores a 4/5 overall and is an easy-to-use and customizable platform. Because it’s so easy to manage, it's one of the best CRMs for salespeople as there’s no steep learning curve. HubSpot provides email tracking, allowing your sales team to follow up at the right time and close deals quicker. This email tracking information feeds into your pipeline, providing actionable insights. Speaking of HubSpot’s pipeline, users have reported that it’s highly intuitive and makes the sales process much smoother.

Salesforce also provides accurate forecasting for complex sales teams, thanks to overlay splits which allow you to credit the right amount based on various factors such as revenue or contract value. Salesforce’s Canadian customer support is available in both French and English.
