Fleet Maintenance Pro Customer Support
If you sign up for the web-based application - a subscription service with a per user, per month charge - you get ongoing technical support.
The desktop application, on the other hand, is a one-time purchase that includes six months of phone and email support. Ongoing support plans are “optional”, but in our experience, much-needed. It’s disappointing to see these treated as an add-on when other suppliers include tech support as standard.
Or you can consider the “Annual Support and Upgrade Subscription” that includes ongoing support as well as major version upgrades as they’re released.
Even if you don’t shell out for support, you’re not completely on your own. You can find helpful resources online, like a knowledge base, FAQ section, user guides and tutorial videos. Plus you can contact customer support via phone, email and online chat.
If you need to talk to a support staff member, you can call Monday to Friday from 9 am 5 pm ET. One user says that the company’s customer service team is “excellent, very responsive and pleasant to work with.”
Fleet Maintenance Pro is great at what it does; but that doesn’t mean it’s right for everyone.
For one thing, the software doesn’t offer location tracking capabilities. Work order management for customer calls is another missing feature that most users will want. Any number of other software packages offer these features, but none of them nail repair and maintenance management. Of course, no solution achieves perfection; but it’s a shame Fleet Maintenance Pro doesn’t come closer.
