The Advanced Curve

The Advanced Curve is a step up from the Curve and can process over 12,000 letters per hour, each of which can be up to 5/8 of an inch in thickness. The Advanced Curve's unique selling point is its Intelligent Envelope Processing System which uses a camera to read addresses at a speed of 6,000 per hour.

Once addresses are read, The Advanced Curve will process them for MASS and CASS, after which it will complete the address corrections. Because this system can compute the ZIP plus 4 and then put the IMB on the edge of the envelope, this means your business will be able to send their letters at the mixed AADC rate with no sorting - and this equals a discount of close to 6% on each letter sent.

The system also works with the Flat Mixed AADC reduction which saves the business over 15 cents per piece. This, too, can result in significant savings.

Pricing

Because postage is regarded the same as currency under federal law, the United States Postal Service stipulates that postal meters can only be rented, not purchased. While the cost to lease is determined by both the type of machine and term of the lease, it should be borne in mind that this is only one part of the equation.

You will need to consider your business's average mail volume, current postal spend, and the cost of peripherals, supplies, and postage as part of the overall cost. A brief consultation with Expert Market can help you find the right machine to suit your business.
