The Forerunner is designed to be run by one operator which helps cut labor and staffing costs and is suitable for short to mid-length runs.
The Navigator system controller, its master command center, is easily operated via touchscreen technology to improve productivity and overall management of the system. This technology is easy to use so anyone in your business should be able to set the machine up and run jobs efficiently.
This function can also be used via downloadable applications for use on wireless mobile devices, ensuring control and overseeing of the Forerunner's performance anywhere.
Maximize productivity using Bell and Howell's IQ Harmonix solution. With this on-the-fly system, processing speeds can be reduced or increased according to the size of envelopes, material or packaging the Forerunner is handling, giving automatic optimum performance.
Envelopes can be tracked anywhere on the machine by Bell and Howell's JetVision reading system. Each mail piece is given a unique bar-code which personalizes the item and monitors its whereabouts.
Envelope sizes that can be processed range from a minimum of 3.5 x 6 inches up to 6.9 x 10.4 inches with a maximum thickness of 0.32 inches for Turn Over and 0.38 inches for Conveyor.
Due to the Forerunner being a modular system, it is attachable to more than 100 other paper/mail handling products and allows for automated changeover to reduce time between jobs.
Optional input devices are available for the Forerunner including roll-feed, continuous form cutters, 1-up and 2-up sheet feeders, heavy duty cycle folders and accumulators.
